We collect hazardous and non-hazardous wastewater and extract contaminants like petroleum and other petrochemical products.
Wastewater is treated and cleaned to meet regulatory safety standards; recovered oils and fuels are blended back into CIRCON’s fuel stocks.
Fuel stocks re-enter the market with renewed value, once again ready to power our industry.

How We Move

Our treatment facilities are capable of receiving shipments by truck, rail, or barge.

We utilize state-of-the-art technologies to provide efficient and effective wastewater management solutions. Below is just a sampling of our systems, services, and accepted materials.

Solids Handling Unit
Our stainless steel solids handling unit (SHU) can separate solids from wastewater generated from sumps, below-ground pits, or manufacturing processes. Separation and recovery of valuable oils and fuels helps us conserve precious resources.

Safe Storage
Our Bayport facility alone boasts more than 775,000 gallons of storage in a concrete containment system, which eliminates the risk of ground contamination.

PCW Reclamation
We have a long history of recovering and recycling hydrocarbons and fuels from petroleum contact water (PCW). Examples of these fuels include:

  • Unleaded Gasoline and/or Diesel
  • Petroleum Condensate
  • Crude Oil
  • Petroleum Products and Co-products
  • Used Oil
  • Unused Non-Chlorinated Solvents
  • Unused Petroleum Solvents

Marine Terminal
Located in the Port of Houston on the Ship Channel, our Marine Terminal facility has the capacity to load from 10,000- to 20,0000-barrel parcels via barge. We also lease more than 80,000 barrels of tankage at the Houston Fuel Oil Terminal and can load or deliver vessels to end users via internal tank transfer. Services provided include:

  • Annex I & II slops
  • Cargo washings
  • Off-spec cargos
  • Engine sludge and bilge water
  • Barge to shore transfers
  • 52-space barge fleeting
  • Fuel and lube sales
  • Barge stripping

Where We Work

Our Bay Park and Bayport locations are fully-permitted centralized waste treatment (CWT) facilities in the Bayport Industrial Complex, handling both non-hazardous and hazardous wastewater as well as recyclable liquids. Bay Park also maintains a RCRA Part B permit.

In the Chicago market, our facilities in Hodgkins, Illinois, and Gary, Indiana provide wastewater treatment and oil recovery operations. Additionally, Hodgkins is a CWT-permitted facility capable of receiving hazardous waste.
